The Comet P8641 thermometer has an output to and is powered by an Ethernet network, so it does not need an external socket adapter. Comet P8641 is equipped with four inputs for external temperature or humidity probes. You can display the measured values directly on a web page in your browser. However, the sensor also supports a number of other protocols that can be used for communication. Management and setup is then handled via the TSensor utility, which is free to download. If you wish, the Comet P8641 can be calibrated and a calibration certificate can be issued. Simply select the appropriate temperature or humidity probes and select the calibration option for them. A calibration sheet will then be included in the delivery. More

Functions and features of the Comet P8641 thermometer
- Four external temperature probes or two combined temperature and humidity probes can be connected to the thermometer.
- Setup and management of the thermometer can be done using the TSensor operating software, which is completely free of charge.
- Measured data can be monitored and managed via a standard web browser on a local Ethernet network.
- Support for communication protocols WWW, ModbusTCP, SNMPv1, SOAP, XML.
- Possibility of setting alarm messages via E-mail, SNMP Trap, Syslog.
- Comet P8641 is powered by Ethernet cable (Power over Ethernet). Therefore, there is no need for an external adapter to the socket. However, this adapter can also be used for the Comet P8641 if desired.
