We perform temperature maps of large storage areas such as storage halls for thermolabile materials, pharmaceuticals, food and other materials.

The aim of the validation is to determine the temperature distribution in the space according to the requirements of the customer. The temperature map can be performed in the whole building, or it can be specified by the user only for a storage area, for example in a racking system, a dispatch area, a stacking area or a specific location in the production or dispatch process.

The temperature map can be performed in different operating situations. The best measurement is made when there is limited or stopped operation. Alternatively, measurements can be performed in specific sections and time stages. The best matching temperature map should be performed in a specific area as a whole at one time interval.

Temperature maps are required mainly by producers or purchasers who require correct temperature conditions for stored products. In most cases these are warehouses for thermolabile material such as pharmaceuticals or other medical supplies. In some cases, validation is then required for food warehouses.

Storage hall as a whole

For a correctly performed temperature map, it is necessary to monitor the entire space in one timeline.

This process is more demanding and requires a large number of sensors, but this is the only way to measure relevant data that will correspond to the timeline of the record.

The principle of space validation is actually to verify whether the space meets the required temperature conditions. These conditions are set by the client, depending on the nature of the material to be stored.

The record of the temperature map in one timeline tells you the current temperature in all areas of the warehouse at any given moment. Based on this measurement, the entire warehouse area can then be assessed as compliant or non-compliant. In the case of other competing companies a record is often made at different times from different locations in the warehouse space. However, we consider this practice to be incorrect.
