Scales with separate weighing surface
Platform scales are used wherever it is necessary to separate the weighing surface from the display unit. This type of scale finds use mainly in various sectors of industry and production. The weighing surface can be placed simply on the floor to weigh heavy objects or directly on boxes and crates of material.
The display unit, or display if you prefer, is then positioned, for example, at eye level or at any other level according to the actual requirements. In meat production, for example, the display unit is also protected from moisture by being placed directly on the wall, where there is less risk of water contamination.
