The calibration meets the requirements of supervising authorities (ISO, SUKL, CIA, etc.). During calibration (validation) of drying scales we perform basic adjustment of the weighing part of the scales as well as checking and adjustment of the temperature part of the device. A calibration certificate is then issued for each of them, in which the values found during the test are mentioned. We adjust analysers of Ohaus, Radwag, Kern, Sartorius or Mettler Toledo brands.

Calibration of the scales is performed by quantitative comparison of the value of the reference weight (standard) with the measured value of the scale, which is displayed on the display. For this purpose, the current calibration procedures must be observed. It is also important to use suitable reference weights of adequate accuracy which are calibrated regularly.

Why perform regular calibrations?

• Reliable analysis - The basis of any analysis is first of all correct and accurate measurement. Therefore, regular calibrations must be observed to correctly analyse the sample.
• In compliance with regulations - The regular calibration of the analyser is usually defined by the internal regulations of companies and institutions.
• Research and progress - Only with accurate measurements can progress in development and innovation be achieved. By observing metrological procedures and regularly calibrating the moisture analyser, you will achieve corresponding results.

Calibration of the weighing part of the drying analyser

For the calibration of the weighing part of moisture analysers we use the same standards as for the calibration of laboratory and analytical balances. This is a set of standard weights that are regularly calibrated and kept in a safe case.

Calibration of the weighing part of the drying scales is performed by quantitative comparison of the standard with the measured value displayed on the display. An accredited process of measurement guarantees the correct performance of the metrological operation.

Calibration of the temperature part of the moisture analyser

We also calibrate the temperature part of the moisture analyser according to an accredited procedure. Using a calibrated temperature standard, we perform a comparative method to calibrate the internal part of the analyser where the weighed sample is heated.

The result of the measurement is a calibration certificate with the measured values.

If the device allows it, we can also perform adjustment of the drying scale at the customer's request.
