Our laboratory is focused, among other things, on the calibration of thermometers. Due to our excellent equipment we are able to perform calibrations in a wide range of temperatures (- 196 ⁰C to 1100 ⁰C). Typically, the gauges we calibrate are almost all types of thermometers that the market is able to offer (electronic, analogue, spatial, needle probe, thermometers with resistance probes and thermocouples, infrared, non-contact, etc.).

We are an accredited calibration laboratory of temperature.

• Correct procedures of measurement - During calibrations we follow correct and up-to-date procedures of measurement. The calibration performed is in accordance with the newest technologies in use.

• Suitable standards - Our laboratory is equipped with modern standards with regular calibration. We are equipped for different types of thermometers and probes in different measurement ranges. This allows us to offer calibrations for a really wide range of thermometer and sensor types with specific designs.
• Calibration certificate - We will issue you a calibration certificate with the measurement results, including the relevant measurement uncertainties

We are equipped to calibrate all types of thermometers and sensors. The laboratory equipment is ready to perform calibrations on different types of thermometers. We commonly encounter unusual customer requirements and can perform calibrations at the customer's site. At customers we work with temperature sensors and systems in operations in production and industry. Calibrations can be performed throughout the Czech Republic.

• laboratory and medical thermometers - for measurements in refrigerators and freezers or in laboratory environments

• needle thermometers - measure temperature using a needle that is in direct contact with the material being measured
• infrared non-contact thermometers - for measuring the temperature of surfaces using infrared radiation

Suitable equipment for laboratory of temperature

Our laboratory is equipped to perform temperature calibrations on most thermometers, depending on their design. Our equipment therefore includes not only dry block ovens and laboratory baths but also climate chambers.

For calibration of infrared non-contact thermometers we use several types of black bodies including nitrogen cooling to low temperatures.

We are able to simulate the required temperature ranges in several climatic chambers for calibration of temperature gauges in different measurement sectors.

Standards used for calibration of thermometers

Quality calibrated standards are the basis for accurate measurements. Our laboratory is equipped with top quality standards that ensure not only a wide measuring range, but also the highest possible accuracy.

The standards are regularly calibrated and meet the required measurement accuracy.

With the suitable equipment, our laboratory obtains the corresponding uncertainty in the measurements. Professionally trained and experienced staff are an integral part of this process. Regular audits and inspections ensure an appropriate level and quality of service.

Calibration of thermometers at the customer's site

We also perform measurements outside the laboratory premises directly at the technological process of the customer, which eliminates the often complicated and lengthy disassembly of the gauge before sending it to the laboratory and subsequent reassembly. A typical example is the calibration of temperature sensors in ovens, dryers, silos and cooling chamber cabinets.
