Calibration at the customer's site

Out of the permanent premises of the laboratory, we also perform calibrations at the customer's site. This not only minimizes the need to stop common operation, but also eliminates the time downtime during disassembly or subsequent installation of gauges for calibration in an external laboratory.

We provide e.g. calibration of temperature or humidity measurement chains, which means checking the "route" from the display unit, through the transmitter, communication card to the temperature or humidity sensor. This eliminates a possible error in the measurement chain route, which can happen if only the sensor is calibrated separately. Furthermore, calibration of temperature sensors can then be performed directly in the technological process, without the need to remove the sensor from the equipment.

Another type of external calibration is to measure the homogeneity of the equipment space. This is mainly used in laboratories (refrigerators, thermostats, freezers, etc.), storage or production areas, frozen food transport equipment, etc...

The most frequent type of calibration at the customer's site is the calibration of scales and weighing equipments, where the accuracy of weighing processes is ensured by means of a test with an accurate standard weight (with possible adjustment). We provide this service in a wide range of scale types: analytical scales, drying scales, platform scales, bench scales, bridge scales, rail scales, etc.

Example of typical operations where calibrations are performed externally:

Laboratories (thermostats, refrigerators, thermocyclers, scales, centrifuges, etc.)
Bakeries (fryers, batch ovens, warehouses, etc.)
Dairies (external temperature sensors, scales)
Packing plants (external temperature sensors, scales)
Concrete mixing plants (external temperature sensors, scales)
Production lines (external temperature sensors, scales)
Mills (scales, thermometers, hygrometers)
Distilleries (scales, thermometers, hygrometers)
Warehouses and production areas (temperature field homogeneity, scales)

How long the calibration is valid? What is the recalibration period? What is a calibration certificate and what does it contain? What is validation, etalon, gauge continuity or official verification of a gauge? The answers to these questions can be found here.
