Temperature maps

Temperature maps of refrigerator, freezer and warehouse spaces for correct preservation of materials.
We perform temperature maps of storage spaces for correct preservation of thermolabile material. Temperature maps are most often required in chamber fridges, freezers but also in larger warehouses where the appropriate temperature must be maintained. The temperature map, or more precisely the validation of the space, then shows whether the appropriate temperature is maintained in all storage areas. The result of the validation is a validation certificate that shows if the space does or does not meet the customer's requirements.
The temperature map is very often required by inspection authorities such as:
- SÚKL (State Institute for Drug Control) - For storage of thermolabile drugs in freezers, refrigerators and boxes. This is discussed in more detail in document DIS-15 - Monitoring and control of temperature during storage and transport of medicines.
- Blood plasma purchasers - The main purchasers are Baxter and Grifols, who require the correct preservation and storage of blood plasma.
- SZPI (State Agricultural and Food Inspection Authority) - As evidence for appropriate storage of thermolabile foods.
- SVS (State Veterinary Administration) - For appropriate storage of feed and medicines.
However, maintaining appropriate temperature in the space is also important, especially for laboratories where temperature mapping is performed for thermoboxes, incubators, water baths, shock freezers, thermoblocks and other equipment. In manufacturing and industry, temperature maps are often performed for dryers, thermostats and temperature chambers that are part of production..
Validation protocol (temperature maps)
The output of the temperature map is a validation protocol that contains all the necessary data for the evaluation of the measured space. We have been performing temperature maps and validations for 15 years. The output validation protocol is prepared to meet all the above mentioned control authorities but mainly the customer's requirements. Among other things, the protocol includes:
- Information about the customer and the measured equipment.
- Measurement method and corresponding validation method.
- The standards used in the measurement, their calibration certificates in an accredited laboratory and the continuity of the standards with the national standard.
- A graphical layout of the sensors.
- Photodocumentation of the location of the sensors in the space.
- A graphical representation of the temperature progression in the equipment.
- A table of measured values including statistics.
- Copies of calibration certificates for temperature sensors that have been calibrated by an accredited calibration laboratory.
- Evaluation of the measurements.
- Customer specific requirements.
- Conclusion and evaluation of customer requirements
Temperature maps for fridges and freezers
For appropriate storage of drugs, vaccines, blood plasma and other thermolabile materials.
If you have a classic fridge or freezer, or if you keep thermolabile material in a large chamber fridge or freezer, here is more information about temperature maps in these refrigeration equipment.
Validation of fridges and freezers is required in particular by regulatory authorities such as the SÚKL and blood plasma purchasers Baxter and Grifols. It is required in almost all cases involving the storage of blood.

Temperature map of warehouses and storage halls
We perform temperature maps and validations of storage halls for thermolabile material.
We can ensure the temperature validation of your warehouse space. You can expect a complete service from initial consultation, your requirements, quotation, technical realization and complete documentation with output in the form of a validation certificate.
Warehouse temperature maps are most commonly required for pharmaceutical materials, medical devices, feed or food. However, we do not exclude production halls and warehouses that process or store other thermolabile material.
