Dynamometers

To measure the force of the grip

Dynamometers, or force gauges for measuring the force of the grip, are often used in rehabilitation centres to determine the manual clamping force of the hands.

You can detect reduced hand strength that arises, for example, as a result of malnutrition or as a result of chemotherapy. As part of a rehabilitation program, it allows controlled patient training and direct monitoring of current fitness and development.
