Drying scales (moisture analysers)

For laboratory moisture analysis

A drying scale, also known as a moisture analyser, is a precision scale with an integrated emitter directly above the weighing pan. The principle of moisture analysis is to place the sample on the weighing surface, which is then covered by a lid with an infrared heater. Different types of analysers then offer several program modes in which the infrared heater evaporates the contents of the sample to be weighed.

Moisture analysers are used to dry samples in laboratories and to analyse the amount of liquid in the sample. They are used in the pharmaceutical, chemical, food, agricultural and construction industries.
