M2 class weights are among the most frequently used weights in common commercial weighing and often in industry and other sectors. M2 weights are compliant with OIML (International Organization for Legal Metrology). These are brass, cast iron and sometimes stainless steel weights in various designs. The most common type is the classic cylindrical weights, but you can also find weights for hanging and cast iron blocks.
