Measurement of the temperature of vaccines COVID-19 in refrigerators from 2°C to 8°C.
For storage of Pfizer (Comirnaty), Vaccine Moderna and Vaccine AstraZeneca vaccines which will be used for immediate consumption, you can use refrigerators with a temperature range of 2°C to 8°C. This solution will mainly be used by vaccination centres and doctors who will perform the vaccination of patients.
The Ministry of Health has established a vaccination strategy for how COVID-19 vaccines should be stored and what temperature conditions should be observed.
- Monitoring of the temperature must be performed with a calibrated thermometer.
- It is necessary to keep a record of the measured temperatures.
- It is necessary to comply the temperature chain in accordance with § 35a, § 38 (1) and (2), § 39 (1) to (4) of Decree No 229/2008 Coll.
