The option of connecting an external sensor is often used for a simple reason. This is the fact that the measured environment does not suit the normal user environment. This is mainly the case for temperature measurement in refrigeration devices, fridges and freezers or freezer boxes. In this case, the external sensor is placed in the environment we want to measure. The display unit is then placed in an acceptable temperature environment where the temperature can be recorded or monitored. However, depending on the range of the external sensor, it may not be low temperatures but rather high temperatures in various ovens, dryers that use high temperatures.

However, thermometers with an external sensor can also be used in a normal household when you simply want to measure the outside temperature without having to go outside the comfort of your home.
