Current output sensors are commonly part of monitoring systems in industry and building automation. They are used to monitor temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure or carbon dioxide levels. Current output sensors are also used in the food industry, supermarkets and warehouses where critical values need to be monitored. The control panel is then used to collect and store the measured data.

The sensors offer a wide range and variability of placement, even with external probes for measurements in extreme ranges. Selected models can then also be used in intrinsically safe versions that can be placed in Ex explosive environments.
