Data logger for pasteurization and temperature recording in the process

The ebro EBI 12-T100 temperature data logger is designed for temperature measurement using an internal Pt 1000 sensor. Its compact design without an external probe makes it suitable for use in pasteurization lines, closed chambers, process areas and other equipment where the actual temperature profile needs to be recorded.

The data logger helps mainly with:

• monitoring the course of the pasteurization process,
• verifying that the required temperature has been reached and maintained during production,
• recording temperature directly inside the product or process area,
• documenting process temperatures for audits,
• internal quality control,
• validation of the temperature process,
• repeated measurement in humid and thermally demanding environments,
• measurement traceability through regular calibration.

In practice, it can be used, for example, for checking the pasteurization of food, beverages, finished products, returnable packaging or other products where it is necessary to verify the temperature profile inside the process.

Compact dimensions for measurement directly inside the product

One of the main advantages of the ebro EBI 12-T100 data logger is its small size. The device measures only 48 × 24 mm and weighs approximately 90 g. This means that, in most cases, it can be placed directly inside the product, packaging, basket, chamber or another part of the production process.

This solution is particularly suitable where it is necessary to determine the real temperature at the point that is critical for process quality. In pasteurization, this makes it easier to verify whether the product has been exposed to the required temperature for the required period of time.

Robust design for food production and manufacturing environments

The data logger has no display or control buttons on the body of the device. Measurement settings, logging interval configuration and data readout are carried out via an interface and software on a computer. This makes the housing structurally simpler, more robust and suitable for environments with humidity, higher temperatures and demanding handling conditions.

The housing is made of 316L stainless steel and PEEK material. Its waterproof design with IP68 protection supports use in food production, laboratories and industrial processes.

After measurement, the data can be read out wirelessly via an interface. The interface is not included in the standard delivery and must be ordered separately.

Data logger with the option of accredited temperature calibration

For pasteurization processes, validations and audit-related measurements, not only the data logger’s function itself is important, but also regular verification of its accuracy.
