The Defender 3000 Washdown - i-D33 - is an industrial stainless steel scale designed for use in demanding environments where frequent rinsing and hygienic cleaning are required. It is ideal for simple weighing, checkweighing, piece counting and totaling in food, manufacturing or wet environments.
The scale features a large, multi-colour backlit LCD display that improves readability and changes colour when checking whether the scale is within the target range.
The construction uses 304 stainless steel for increased corrosion resistance, and is IP66 rated for the indicator and IP67 rated for the sensor, ensuring reliability even in wet environments.
The scale is powered by mains (AC adaptor included) or a built-in rechargeable battery, providing flexibility for use where a mains socket is not available. It also has a standard RS232 port for connecting a printer or external device, and it is possible to add USB or Ethernet for connection to a computer or network.
Thanks to its robust design, the scale is suitable for everyday operation where structural and hygienic demands are high, and offers reliable, accurate results in various operating modes.
