The OHAUS Defender 5000 Washdown - D52 is an industrial scale with a stainless steel design, optimized for use in environments requiring frequent washing and high durability.

Thanks to its robust 304-stainless steel construction with an IP68-rated indicator and IP67 load cell, it is suitable for wet, dusty and other demanding work environments.

The model offers a large, easy-to-read backlit LCD display and intuitive operation with on-screen text prompts and a clear keyboard interface that makes it easy for even less experienced users to operate. It supports common industrial weighing functions such as weighing, checkweighing, piece counting, percentage weighing and other applications, including dynamic weighing with value hold.

Data outputs are GMP/GLP compliant, including time and date for audit trail, and can be transferred via RS232, MicroSD and optional other interfaces such as USB, Ethernet or wireless.
