The OHAUS Courier™ 5000-4 is a precisely designed low-profile scale suitable for everyday weighing of packages in warehouses, post offices or packing plants, as well as for weighing animals in smaller veterinary workplaces.
The scale has a solid 304 stainless steel weighing surface that is resistant to wear and easy to keep clean. A large 5-digit LCD display with a digit height of 28 mm ensures clear and quick reading of weighing results, and the Dynamic Weighing/Display Hold mode enables a stable display of weight even for larger objects or animals. It is also equipped with a functional Weight Alert system, which automatically warns when the weight exceeds the defined limit for safe transportation — ideal for weight control before shipment.
The scale supports power supply via USB-C or a standard AC adapter (included in the package) and can also be operated on 3 x AA batteries for mobile use.
The standard UPS communication protocol facilitates integration into transport systems and software.
